Scuba Charter Packing List

This list was designed for a charter with Truth Aquatics, but a pretty good start for many charters. Enjoy!

----- DIVE ITEMS -----

  • Certification card (REQUIRED ITEM)

  • DAN insurance or equivalent

  • Gear bag

  • Mask, Snorkel, Fins

  • 7mm wetsuit or drysuit

  • Hood, gloves and boots

  • Wetsuit / drysuit hanger

  • BCD

  • Tank (just one)

  • Weight belt / Weights

  • Regulator with pressure gauge, depth gauge, compass, and decompression computer

  • Safety Sausage

  • U/W light

  • Tank light if you want to participate in a night dive (REQUIRED FOR NIGHT DIVING)

  • Save-A-Dive kit (extra fin strap, mask strap, o-rings, silicon, tools, high and low pressure hose, batteries, bulbs, wet suit cement, zipper wax, etc.)

----- PERSONAL ITEMS -----

  • Dress in layers for both warm and cool weather

  • Sheet set (Bunks are vinyl covered mattresses with pillows and blankets)

  • Seasick Medicine (take seasick medicine 1⁄2 hour prior to departure if you have the tendency to get seasick)

  • Swimsuit

  • Towels

  • Personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)

  • Snore Strips if you happen to be a snorer :)

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses

  • Hat

  • Camera - If you're an underwater photographer / videographer with multiple plug needs, bring a charge strip so you can consolidate your items.
